Yorkshire Heritage Roofing specialises in all roofing applications for domestic and commercial properties. We restore and repair roofs for heritage, listed and other properties across the Yorkshire region and beyond.

With over 11 years’ experience, our expert team have carried out works on all manner of heritage buildings, using traditional methods and materials from traditional slate and clay, to lead and lime mortar work. With our level of expertise and craftsmanship, we are also able to work on new roofing applications for domestic properties ensuring the highest quality finish.

Yorkshire Heritage Roofing’s Director, Ian, is the proud awardee of the Prince of Wales Master Craftsman accolade and placed highly in the UK's highly regarded national competition Skillbuild (CITB). He has also completed a specialist heritage course under King Charles’ charity, the Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment and is a certified specialist lead worker.

Our particular area of roofing, Heritage roofing, can be defined as roof covering works carried out with traditional materials and workmanship to buildings which have a historic value, as opposed to modern materials and workmanship used with current building practices.

We are part of the National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC) which means that we are vetted to ensure we are working to the highest standard set by the industry experts. This means we are able to provide our clients with peace of mind. Through the NFRC we are also able to provide a Building Regulations Compliance Certificate and 10 year Insurance Backed Guarantee on all new and re-roofing projects.
